What to do if Link is Down?

  • Check the Device connectivity between yours & UNBORN.
  • Then re-connect the cable which is connected between yours & UNBORN’s device.
  • Reboot the device provided by UNBORN.
  • Reboot your internal devices (Switch, HUB, Router, Server etc.)

Why I can't use Proper Bandwidth?

  • Restart your internal devices (Switch, HUB, Router, Server etc.).
  • If the problem remains, then connect a single PC with UNBORN network & test the bandwidth usage.

Why I am getting Slow Speed?

  • Check others utilization status connected to your network. If other users are using maximum bandwidth, then you are getting slow speed. In this case, you will get proper bandwidth when other users reach to normal utilization.
  • Restart once your internal devices (Switch, HUB, Router, Server etc.).

How to test my Internet Speed?

  • In order to get best test results, we recommend you to make sure you are connected on a fixed wire port and testing against the Intervisp server.
  • You can not accurately test your Internet access via a wifi connected device as this is subject to so many external conditions and circumstances and will never run at the same speed as a fixed wire port.
  • Turn-off your Wi-Fi port and Connect your Laptop/ desktop directly via LAN cable to avoid any interference.
  • Close any programs/ updates or in-progress downloads that are using your connection and ensure disk utilization is below 10%
  • Reset your internet modem and/or router and rerun the speed test.
  • If you test to a server deep within the Internet (ie not Intervisp) then the speed is subject to many downstream issues which as a retail ISP we cannot control.

What does an 'always on' connection mean? How do I connect to the internet?

An 'Always On' Connection means that you are always connected to the internet. You just have to enter your Username and Password to gain access to the Internet. You don't need to dial any phone number.

Is UNBORN Wireless Broadband a mobile Broadband connection?

No, UNBORN Wireless Broadband uses Wireless technology on last mile to reach your building to provide Broadband. We will install a CPE on your rooftop / balcony and your home will be connected with Ethernet cable.

What is my Customer ID?

Your Customer ID is the unique account number of 5 numerical digits allotted to you by our CRM and Billing System at the time your account is registered with us initially. You can ask for any account details via Customer ID.

What is FUP (Fair Usage Policy)?

While the packages are designed to give unlimited broadband experience to the subscribers, few customers may use excessive amount of the data transfer, causing traffic congestion on the network. In order not to impair the experience of other users, a Fair Usage Policy is applied. This helps to give the desired Internet usage experience to all users, especially since broadband is a shared bandwidth experience and the over-usage of a group of customers must not affect the rest of the users.

You can Login to My Account section for our website and from there you can see your data usage details. You can also visit “Click here to download unbilled usage details” link to check real time usage.

Which Router does Unborn provides and what is the cost and it’s features?

  • For FTTH/ FTTB networks, UNBORN does not provide the Router or and other Customer Premise Equipment. Customer can buy Router/ Accessories recommended by UNBORN or any other equipment of equivalent specifications. UNBORN recommended Router is available for Rs. 1800/-.
  • For FTTN networks, UNBORN provides the Customer Premise Equipment, for which a refundable security deposit of Rs.1500/- would be collected at the time of signing the Customer Relationship Form (CRF)
